Pls help a new way to cook rice not cook-up or fried rice, thank u.

This is just a suggestion...I like to make a red bean rice. It is almost the same method and ingredients as cook-up rice..however you use just enough water to cook the rice without having to strain it. You can add a variation of different beans for a different taste, and add saffron to make the colour of the rice yellow. The texture of the rice should be loose and scattered, (if not over cooked).This type of rice can be eaten with both baked or curried dishes. Hope this helps!

Hi. If you eat beef, another dish you can prepare is called "dirty rice". Basically you fry about a pound of ground beef with onion, red and green peppers, 3 tsp bouillon, seasoning (salt, pepper, etc), until it is cooked. Drain the fat from the meat and add 1 cup of uncooked rice, 2 cups of water. Cook until rice is cooked and water is evaporated (20-25 min). This recipe is very versatile, so you can add whatever vegetable you like to it!
