- 1 1/4 lb All-purpose flour
- 1 lb butter
- 1 1/4 lb White sugar
- 8 large Eggs
- 2 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 cup evaporated milk
Methods/steps
- Cream butter and sugar using a mixer.
- Add eggs, one at a time.
- Add essence.
- Mix in flour and milk alternately. (start and end with flour). Do not over mix.
- Pour mixture in a 12x9 inch greased baking pan.
- Bake in oven at 350 deg F for approx. 1 hour.

Use middle rack of oven for best results.
