1 can of carnation milk (370 ml)
1 can of condensed milk (300 ml)
1 cup of water
1/2 cup of custard powder
1/8 tsp nutmeg
Methods/steps
- In a small bowl, mix the custard powder with 1/2 up of carnation milk. Mix until the powder has disolved.
- In a medium sized pot, mix the remaining carnation milk, condensed milk, water and nutmeg. (using a whisk is best)
- On med heat, bring the mixture to a near boil (3-5 minutes).
- Reduce the heat to low and add the custard mixture. Continue to turn the mixture with your whisk. Cook for approx. 2 minutes.
- Remove mixture from the burner and let cool.
- Once cool, pour into ice cube trays and freeze for approx. 4 hours or until the custard is frozen in the trays.
